Most of the time, unless hail is larger than the size of a golf ball or that it hails for an extended period of time, the dents can be removed without having to do costly conventional repair methods and in a fraction of the time. When filing with your insurance company, if your vehicle can be repaired with PDR, the insurance will pay based on repair via PDR. Sometimes, claims require that a supplement to be filed on behalf of the insured because many times the insurance payment is less than the actual cost to complete the repairs. Once insurance has been finalized, if going through insurance, repair time is normally just a few days.
1 – How long does it take to complete hail damage repairs? Hail damage repair varies, but most of the time anywhere from a few hours to a few days.
2 – Do you take insurance and work with insurance companies? Yes, DENTconnection™ has realtionships with and works with insurance companies. We can file supplements on behalf of the insured and assist in the process of getting the supplement finalized.
3 – Will you be here after the storm? Yes. DENTconnection™ is a locally, familiy-owned business. We continue to be available for our customers year round.
4 – Do I have to leave the vehicle while the insurance claim is being processed? No, we do not take the vehicle until we are ready to work on the vehicle.
5 – If my vehicle requires trim pieces, moldings or other parts, do I still need to go to a body shop? No. DENTconnection™ has relationships and works with local body shops, so we can take care of these items for our customers.
6 – If my windshield was damaged by the hail, can DENTconnection™ help with getting it replaced? Yes, DENTconnection™ has relationships with reputable, local glass companies, so we can also take care of glass needs for our customers.
7 – Do I have to file a claim with my insurance company or can I pay out-of-pocket? No. You can pay out-of-pocket if you choose not to file with your insurance.
8 – Does DENTconnection™ report the hail damage repair to my vehicle’s history report, such as a CARFAX? No, DENTconnection™ does not report the hail damage repair, but sometimes, the insurance will report it as a non-collision event.
