4 – If my damage is more severe and I decide to file a claim with my insurance, do I have to leave the vehicle while the insurance claim is being processed? No, we do not take the vehicle until we are ready to work on the vehicle.
5 – If my vehicle requires trim pieces, moldings or other parts, do I still need to go to a body shop? No. DENTconnection™ has relationships and works with local body shops, so we can take care of these items for our customers.
6 – If my windshield has damage, can DENTconnection™ help with getting it replaced? Yes, DENTconnection™ has relationships with reputable, local glass companies, so we can also take care of glass needs for our customers.
7 – Do I have to file a claim with my insurance company or can I pay out-of-pocket? No. You can pay out-of-pocket if you choose not to file with your insurance, and in most cases, it’s best to pay for door dings and minor dents out-of-pocket.
8 – Does DENTconnection™ report the door ding(s) or minor dents to my vehicle’s history report, such as a CARFAX? No, DENTconnection™ does not report the door ding or minor dent repair, but sometimes, if you choose to file insurance, the insurance company will report it as a non-collision event.
